Popped in last night after seeing the New Bob Marley film and we weren't disappointed. We both ordered off the specials menu. I had the sirloin steak with crayfish and my wife had the cod with pesto risotto. The food was lovely and service great.
Had a really good experience at La Piazzetta last week, so much so that I took another large group of friends there yesterday. The service was exemplary and every staff member was helpful and friendly. They were able to cater for our specific requests and were so patient with our questions and changes of mind. It was also really useful to be able to pay individually. The warmth of service created a lovely atmosphere and we had a very enjoyable time. Will definitely go again.

The staff went above and beyond, particularly the lovely waitress who surprised us with a tremendous Dark and Stormy cocktail—despite it not being on the menu. They absolutely nailed it! The food was phenomenal. We enjoyed every dish, starting with the superb nibbles and starters like the creamy goat’s cheese gratin, perfectly cooked garlic mushrooms, crispy halloumi fries, and succulent king prawns. For mains, the chicken and mushroom farfalle was indulgent and flavorful, the spinach and ricotta tortellini was delightful, and the steak tagliata and belly pork were cooked to perfection. Every bite was a testament to the kitchen’s skill and attention to detail. The restaurant itself is beautifully spaced out, with a cosy yet vibrant ambience that adds to the dining experience. Absolutely loved this gem of a restaurant! Called in for a quick lunch while Christmas shopping, and was so surprised by the quality and service that we are already planning a return visit and have recommended to several friends! The staff were so friendly and helpful, very attentive! We had the seafood sharing platter, and wow! Highly recommended to seafood lovers ! Bread basket was lovely, and the sweet potato fries were the best we have ever had! The kids' menu had a great choice, and the portion sizes were amazing! More than enough to fill up our 12 year old! Looking forward to our next visit!
Came here New Year's Eve for a meal with the family and it was utterly delightful. Did my normal test: one not on the menu, one half the size and one heavily modified. All of them were fantastic and absolutely delicious Every dish was cooked bespoke and really fresh. Will be coming here again.
Stopped for breakfast. Had the scrambled eggs on toast, I tell you what, it was really tasty, one of the best I have had. Nice surroundings, I sat by the window looking out at the old market hall. Staff friendly, toilets clean, no complaints.

Reassuringly busy. Thankfully we booked a table. Every member of staff was friendly and professional and a rarity these days. Food was very nice indeed. Great vegetarian options and a difficult choice to settle on what to have. We're just going to have to go back and sample some more! Thoroughly recommend a visit.
